Tips To Avoid Getting Lipstick On The Teeth:

Nidhi Sharma
You definitely don't want to hear there's lipstick on your teeth. So how do you prevent lipstick from getting on your teeth? Follow these easy steps to prevent a lipstick disaster.

1. The easiest thing to do is suck on your finger. Put finger in your mouth, form O with your mouth around your finger and then slowly pull it out. Excess color will end up on your finger not your teeth.

2. Lipstick contains oils and these oils cause the lipstick to move around. To avoid this problem, blot your lipstick with the help of tissue. Blotting will eliminate the excess oil.

Tips To Get Ready In Summer:

Nidhi Sharma
Want to look glowy- not greasy this summer. Try out these tips:

  1. Wash your face: Start off with washing your face with the cleanser, pat dry and apply sunscreen to protect your skin from Ultraviolet Rays.
  2. Prime your face: The key to long lasting foundation is the primer. All you need is a pee size primer and apply it all over your face and make sure it is oil free formula.
  3. Tinted Moisturizer: Swap your foundation with the tinted moisturizer that even out the skin tone, and add radiance. If you have SPF in your tinted moisturizer, you can skip applying sunscreen.
  4. Concealer: Apply concealer wherever needed and hide your dark spots with this instead of full coverage foundation.
  5. Powder: Set your makeup with the powder.
  6. Apply bronzer: Apply bronzer with a slight shimmer with peach or pink undertones, over the apples of your cheeks, across the bridge of your nose and on your temples where the sunlight naturally hits your face.
  7. Waterproof Mascara: A little mascara will bring your eyes out. Use water resistant mascara and sweep a clear mascara over it to seal the color.
  8. Add a lip gloss: Apply a lip gloss or a lip balm with an SPF to protect your lips.
  9. Eyeshadow: It is completely optional. You can smudge deep copper eyeshadow all over your lids or you can shimmery golden pink for a softer look. It's better to choose creamy shadows. Sheer cream shadows tend to cake less in hot weather.
  10. Apply your antiperspirant at bedtime: Swiping on antiperspirant before you hit the bed at night is actually more effective than applying in the morning. This way sweet glands get blocked and have more time to absorb before you start perspiring. Apply another coat in the morning after shower.
  11. Use headbands: Pull your hair into a ponytail and slip on a head band of your choice.

Tips To Keep Hair Frizz-Free:

Nidhi Sharma
Frizz is the messy tangle of hair. A raised cuticle results in hair looks dry and frizzy. Curly hair is drier than straight hair that is why curly or wavy hair are more frizzy than straight.

Quick tips to keep hair frizz free:

      1. Don't brush dry hair:  Avoid brushing hair when its dry. Brushing can damage the hair cuticle, it can also stretch hair and leads to breakage.
      2. Comb dry hair with wet fingers: Run wet fingers through dry hair. Frizzy hair is dry and running wet fingers helps in tackle frizz and tame tangles.
      3. Shower at night: Shower at night instead of morning. Apply some anti-frizz product or a  serum and wrap your head in a  clean towel or a cloth for the entire night. In this way you will have curly frizz free hair.
      4. Conditioner: Look for a conditioner which has protein in it. Apply conditioner on the tip of the hair. You can also use anti frizz serum after conditioner.
      5. Use natural oil: Natural oils are better than synthetic oils because they are absorbed into the hair. It gives natural shine to your hair. Natural oil, however, make your hair greasy. Make sure you don't apply it on the roots. You can use coconut oil as it penetrates deep into the hair shaft. You can keep the oil on overnight and shampoo out next morning.
      6. Don't play with your hair: The more you play with it, the worse it gets. Try to avoid moving your curls around.
      7. Cutting: Get your hair trimmed time to time in order to remove any damaged and frizzy hair.
      8. Home made hair mask: Use home remedies to tame your frizzy hair. Avocados is best known for its nutritional properties. It's oil and protein will smooth and moisturize your locks without weighing down the fine hair.Mash up half avocado. Shampoo and squeeze out water. Apply mask and leave it for 15 minutes and then rinse. With this your hair will be soft but not frizzy or greasy. You can also use banana to nourish your hair. Tips To Apply Mascara:

Nidhi Sharma
Mascara makes your eyes stand out by adding length and thickness to it. If you don't have time to wear a lot of eye shadow, adding mascara will bring depth and open up your eyes.

When picking a mascara, you should consider the formula you want like if you plan to wear it all day go for waterproof mascara. It works wonders if you are going out in the sun or sweating. If you have very fine hair than you can go for mascara which gives thickness to your lashes and those who has short eyelashes, can go for mascara which gives extra length and volume.

There are many different shades available in the market. Black mascara opens the eyes and gives the lashes a fuller effect. But people who have very light skin can also go for brown black mascara.

  • Gently curl your lashes.
  • While applying mascara, slowly wiggle the brush back and forth motion and sweep upward. Keep repeating the process until you get the desired thickness. You can apply 2 to 3 coats but make sure it doesn't look clumsy.

Tip: Don't pump the wand in and out of the bottle. Pumping introduces air to the tube which will make the mascara dry out faster causing flaking and clumping. It can also allow bacteria to enter. Discard your used mascara every 3 to 4 months.

How To Get Rid of Acne Scars Naturally:

Nidhi Sharma
Acne is a common human skin disease, which usually occurs in puberty regardless of sex. It is usually characterized by scaly red skin, blackheads, whiteheads and pimples which leads to scars. Acne scars can lead to discoloration of the skin. Most acne scars will fade on their own after a while, but you can speed up the process by doing some natural remedies and avoid further hyper pigmentation.

As we all know Prevention is better than Cure. There are certain things you should avoid in order to prevent forming scars at first place.

  1.  Don't pick or squeeze them. When you get Acne, there is inflammation on your skin and there is a loss of collagen. Collagen is a protein fibre helps in elasticity of the skin. So squeezing your pimple leads to further inflammation and cause bacteria which means more loss of collagen.
  2. Don't expose scars to sun- Sun will slow down the process and it will get darker. Use sunscreen and cover yourself with hat or umbrella.
  3. Drink a lot of water.
  4. Eat healthy which helps in removing toxins from your body.

Natural treatment requires persistence and patience, because the results are not quickly felt but they are much better and safer than chemicals. It will take a while to see any results so do not be easily discouraged. You just need to find the right method for your individual skin type.

Olive oil:

Olive oil is useful in removing scars because it helps loosen dead skin cells and clog pores. It contains anti-inflammatory properties , lots of vitamins and anti-oxidants.

You will need:
- Olive Oil
- Towel

Take a little olive oil and gently massage on your face focusing more on the scars. Wipe away the excess oil gently with the warm towel and wash your face with the water.

Baking Soda:
Baking Soda helps in exfoliating skin which minimize the appearance of acne scars.

- Baking Soda
- Water

Mix both to form a liquid paste. Apply it on scars and use gentle circular motions to rub the baking soda into the skin for about two minutes. Rinse off with luke warm water and pat dry. Don't forget to apply moisturizer.

Honey contains anti-bacterial properties and helps to soothe the skin and reduce inflammation. It is great for sensitive skin and helps in moisturize your skin.

You will need:

Dab directly onto scarred area, using Q-Tip or a cotton ball.

How To Shape Your Eyebrows At Home:

Nidhi Sharma
The shape of your eyebrows can enhance your features and frame your eyes. The most flattering shape or arch will depend on your facial structure. If you have an oval face, you can choose an arch shape and if you have a straight face then you might want a straight eyebrow shape. When waxed the right way, they can change the look of your face and make you look younger and widen your forehead.

If you don't want to pay for a pro job, its ok to go at it on your own. You have many options, including plucking and waxing. Today I am gonna share the way I shape my eyes, with you guys. I am sure you all must have heard about ready to use wax strips which is basically for legs and arms. I use these ones because I can cut them according to my need, thin or thick according to the size of the forehead and its a cheap way too because you can get so many strips out of one big wax strip.

You will need:

- Wax strip

- Scissors
- Tweezers

  1. Cut your wax strips according to your need.
  2. Place it on your unwanted hair and pull them out. Waxing your hair before tweezing will reveal the brow shape and remove the weight and bulk so you can create an ideal shape.
  3. Supplement your waxing with the tweezing and get rid of more unwanted hair. Tweezing is best if you don't have a lot of hair to remove and waxing is ideal to clean up peach fuzzy hairs above your brows.

Sunscreen- Why It's Necessary?

Nidhi Sharma
Excessive exposure to direct sunlight is potentially harmful and it can result in Sunburn if a person doesn't use suitable sunscreen. The Ozone layer is depleting and your body needs shielding from harmful rays. Sunlight contains Ultraviolet(UV) rays. Ultraviolet Radiation is the number one cause of Skin Cancer, Premature Ageing of the skin, and uneven pigmentation of the skin. Sun protection is guarding your body from the adverse effect of sunlight. Sunscreens are products used to reduce amount of UVA and UVB that's is absorbed by the skin. Prolonged Sun exposure gives no extra production of necessary Vitamin D, in fact it exposes the skin to the harmful effects of Ultraviolet radiation.

All skin types are prone to these effects, though Skin Cancer is most common in fairer skin types. However, Sunscreen should be used by everyone as a part of one's daily skin care regimen. Everyday application of sunscreen can slow or temporarily prevent the development of wrinkles and sagging skin. Sunscreens are available in many forms- spray, gel, lotion etc. A sunscreen should also be Hypoallergenic and Non Comedogenic so it does not cause a rash or clog the pores, which can cause acne. Non Comedogenic sunscreens are suited for oily and combination skin types.

It is advised that you generously apply a water resistant sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 to all exposed skin 15 to 30 minutes before sun exposure and re-apply approximately every few hours, even on cloudy days, and after swimming and sweating. Wearing a hat with a brim and anti-UV sunglasses can provide protection against UV radiations entering the eyes.

Make sure you do not apply expired sunscreen lotion to your skin as it has literally fallen apart, so the formulation no longer works as a sun protectant. In addition, it can cause skin irritation.

I hope its does convince you to always wear sunscreen before going out in sun.
